Several stocks hit upper price bands today. CYBERMEDIA, SVGLOBAL and RCDL-RE each advanced 20%. Other counters including TIJARIA, PENTAGON, AKI and SHANTIGEAR recorded sharp gains and touched their respective upper bands. Trading volumes were elevated in select names.
Sharp Advances and Circuit Hits
CYBERMEDIA climbed 20% to close at 23.88 on a 20% price band. SVGLOBAL gained 20% to 144.01. RCDL-RE advanced 20% to 2.10. TIJARIA rose 19.92% to 9.09 while PENTAGON gained 19.95% to 74.85. AKI advanced 19.89% to 6.57.
Other Upper Band Activity
SHANTIGEAR climbed 9.99% to 582.80 with value of ₹27.80 crore. RHETAN rose 9.99% to 23.12 on volume of 68.32 lakh shares. SRIKPRIND gained 9.99% to 33.46. BESTAGRO advanced 8.50% to 20.42. Multiple stocks including PVP, WEBELSOLAR, GVPIL, ONIXSOLAR and BIRLACABLE hit 5% upper circuits.
