Several stocks traded near or at their upper price bands, with strong gains recorded across multiple names. HEROMOTORS led with a near-10% advance and the highest value turnover, while KARAMTARA, AXISCADES, LALITHAA and STLTECH also featured prominently in high-value activity.
Steep Gains at Wider Bands
HEROMOTORS closed at 152.00, up 9.58% on its 10% price band, recording the highest value at ₹1348.35 crore on volume of 909.51 lakh shares. KARAMTARA finished at 395.35 with a 9.99% rise on the 10% band and value of ₹223.38 crore. AXISCADES advanced 7.28% to 2218.00 on a 10% band with value of ₹221.43 crore. ESTER gained 16.77% to 98.73 on its 20% band. ESSARSHPNG rose 16.22% to 19.70 on a 20% band. JHS and GENXAI also posted gains near 20% on 20% bands.
High-Value Activity Near 5% Ceilings
LALITHAA settled at 393.75, up exactly 5.00% on its 5% band with value of ₹152.43 crore. STLTECH closed at 909.90 after a 5.00% rise and value of ₹113.06 crore. MTARTECH finished at 7797.00, up 5.00%, with value of ₹108.54 crore. HFCL, SIGMAADV, XTRANET, JSIPL, VENUSREM, RBZJEWEL, UNIVASTU, TEAMTECH, PRIMECAB and LRRPL also closed at +5.00% on 5% bands. CORDSCABLE, MAZDA, GJL, FASCINATE, AMEYA, GREENLEAF and GFSTEELS ended at or very near +4.98-4.99%.
Other Notable Moves
SOTL advanced 2.93% to 738.00 on a 20% band with value of ₹166.00 crore. STLNETWORK rose 4.35% to 51.61 with value of ₹88.68 crore. VISL appeared in the list with high volume despite a minor decline. Multiple smaller names including ELITECON, VISACHROME, INDOTHAI, BHADORA, SHEKHAWATI and GOLDSTAR finished near the 5% upper band.
