A state-of-the-art Gaushala constructed with a CSR fund of ₹25 lakh was inaugurated on Monday at the historic Galta Teerth by Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Justice Minister and Jaipur In-Charge Minister Jogaram Patel.
Addressing the gathering, the minister said that serving Mother Earth, Gaumata (cow), and one’s own mother is the noblest act of service. He said the new modern Gaushala will give devotees an opportunity to serve Gaumata with dignity and devotion.
Built on 4,500 Square Feet, Capacity for 100 Cows
The Gaushala has been built over an area of 4,500 square feet with the financial support of Finova Capital under its CSR initiative.
According to officials, the facility has the capacity to house 80 to 100 cows, with proper arrangements for fodder, shelter, cleanliness, and medical care. The construction was completed in just four months.
Galta Teerth Being Developed as a Major Tourist Hub
Jaipur District Collector and Galta Teerth Administrator Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni said that following the directions of the Rajasthan High Court and the vision of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, continuous efforts are being made to make Galta Teerth clean, green, and tourist-friendly. Replacing the old dilapidated Gaushala with a modern facility is a major step in this direction.
Pakistani Migrant Granted Indian Citizenship
On the occasion, Prakash Amarchand, son of Hakimchand, who migrated from Umerkot, Pakistan, was formally handed over his Indian citizenship certificate under Section 5(1)(c) of the Citizenship Act, 1955.
