Mercedes-Benz India has launched the Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+, the first sedan in the E-Class portfolio to combine AMG performance with the efficiency and everyday practicality of a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Key highlights:
- AMG E 53 is available in two exciting editions: Performance and Racing Editions
- Combination of a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine and an electric motor delivers a system output of 430 kW (585 hp), rising to 450 kW (612 hp) with RACE START, and 750 Nm of torque
- Purely electric driving range of more than 100 km (WLTP) possible
- 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds; top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. Maximum speed can be increased to 280km/h with AMG driver’s package
- Standard fully variable all-wheel drive (AMG Performance 4MATIC+) and active rear-axle steering (up to 2.5°)
- Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+ Performance and Racing Editions are priced at Rs. 1.45 crores and Rs. 1.48 crores respectively (ex-showroom, all-India)

Mercedes-Benz India has also announced a multi-year title partnership with the Indian Padel Tour for the 2026–27 season. The Mercedes-Benz Indian Padel Tour will comprise19 tournaments across 11 cities, including five flagship Grand Slam events.
