Jaipur, December 2: Rajasthan’s Agriculture Minister and local MLA, Dr. Kirori Lal Meena, conducted an inspection tour of various areas in Sawai Madhopur city on Tuesday to review the status of essential civic services and amenities. He was accompanied by District Collector Kana Ram, Municipal Council Chairman Sunil Tilkar, and senior administrative officials.
Dr. Meena said the local administration and the state government are fully committed to ensuring that citizens receive all basic facilities without interruption.
During the visit, the minister reviewed cleanliness, water supply, electricity, roads, and other civic arrangements linked to the city’s development. He instructed officials to take necessary corrective measures wherever required.
Dr. Meena directed the Municipal Council to remove encroachments at several locations and improve the condition of the vegetable market. He also stressed that there must be zero negligence in maintaining the city’s cleanliness. Interacting with residents at multiple spots, he took feedback on civic services and instructed officials to address issues promptly.
The minister also asked the Water Supply Department to ensure uninterrupted drinking water distribution and fix leakages that were causing wastage. He directed the Public Works Department and the Municipal Council to complete newly approved road projects on time and with full quality compliance.
Dr. Meena instructed the District Collector to closely monitor all works to ensure effective implementation.
