Indian stocks are likely to remain in focus on September 21, 2026, as several companies announced major orders, fundraising plans, preferential issues and corporate developments. Welspun Corp Ltd, Welspun Enterprises Ltd, GMR Airports, Taurian MPS, Prime Industries, Continental Securities and Ecoline Exim are among the companies drawing attention following their latest announcements.
Welspun Corp Secures Saudi Aramco Order
Welspun Corp Ltd said its associate company, East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC), has secured a major contract from Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco).
The order is valued at more than SAR 771 million, or approximately ₹2,000 crore including VAT. EPIC will manufacture and supply steel pipes under the six-month contract, with the financial impact expected from Q4 FY2026-27 through Q1 FY2027-28.
EPIC is a Saudi-based manufacturer of Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes, and the order strengthens Welspun Corp's exposure to Saudi Arabia's energy and infrastructure market.
Welspun Enterprises Wins ₹351 Crore Ahmedabad Projects
Welspun Enterprises Ltd announced that its material subsidiary, Welspun Michigan Engineers Ltd (WMEL), has received two Letter of Awards from the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation for sewer rehabilitation projects.
The combined contract value is ₹351.24 crore, including GST and excluding provisional sums, with funding from the World Bank.
The Western Ahmedabad project, worth ₹229.48 crore, covers rehabilitation of the main trunk sewer line from Gola Lake to the 285 MLD TSPS. The Eastern Ahmedabad project is valued at ₹121.76 crore.
The awards increase WMEL's order book from approximately ₹2,135 crore in June 2026 to ₹2,432.66 crore, representing an addition of around ₹297.66 crore excluding GST and provisional sums.
GMR Airports Wins TDSAT Appeal
GMR Airports Ltd said its subsidiary, Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), won its appeal before the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) concerning aeronautical tariffs at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport for the Fourth Control Period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2029.
TDSAT allowed the issues raised by DIAL, including the non-implementation of an earlier order. The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority is expected to implement the judgment within three months unless an appeal is filed.
Taurian MPS, Prime Industries in Focus on Fundraising
Taurian MPS Ltd approved three special resolutions at its September 20 EGM, including a preferential issue of equity shares and fully convertible warrants aimed at raising up to ₹59.97 crore.
Prime Industries Ltd approved the preferential issue of up to 27.30 lakh equity shares at ₹42 per share, targeting approximately ₹11.47 crore from non-promoter investors. Its authorised share capital will also increase from ₹35 crore to ₹40 crore.
The company additionally approved changes to its MOA, including expansion into areas such as automobile manufacturing and metal trading, and plans to open a branch office in Noida.
Meanwhile, Continental Securities Ltd disclosed that promoter-group member Yash Khuteta acquired 24,500 shares on September 18 for ₹5.95 lakh, taking his holding to 2.30%.
Ecoline Exim Ltd reported that all three resolutions at its September 18 AGM were approved with 100% of votes polled.
