AAP removes Raghav Chadha, appoints Ashok Mittal as Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha.
He had contested the 2019 Lok Sabha election from South Delhi but was defeated by Ramesh Bidhuri. A year later, he bounced back by winning the Rajendra Nagar seat in the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections and subsequently served as the vice-chairman of the Delhi Jal Board.
In 2022, Chadha entered the Rajya Sabha at the age of 33, becoming one of the youngest members of the Upper House. Since then, he has played an important role in the Aam Aadmi Party’s parliamentary strategy and organisational matters, working closely with senior leaders such as Manish Sisodia and Bhagwant Mann.
