At the time of the incident, classes were being conducted inside the room. However, due to the alertness of the teachers, all students were evacuated in time, preventing any injuries or casualties.
Eyewitnesses said a cloud of dust engulfed the premises as soon as the slab crashed down, creating panic among students and staff.
The incident comes shortly after a tragic school building accident in Jhalawar, raising fresh concerns over the structural safety of government school buildings in the state.
