Ahead of Armed Forces Flag Day, observed every year on 7 December, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Friday received the symbolic Flag Day badge from Soldier Welfare Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore at the Chief Minister’s residence. The CM also made an online contribution towards the welfare of soldiers and their families.
The Chief Minister extended his greetings for Armed Forces Flag Day and said the day is dedicated to honouring the Army, Navy and Air Force personnel who safeguard the nation. He described it as a moment to express gratitude to the brave soldiers who sacrifice everything to protect India’s unity and integrity.
CM Sharma added that acknowledging the dedication, sacrifice and service of soldiers is the duty of every citizen. He appealed to the people of Rajasthan to come forward and contribute generously for the welfare of soldiers and their families as a mark of respect.
Senior officials, including Soldier Welfare Department Director Brigadier Virendra Singh Rathore, were also present on the occasion.
