June 26: The cryptocurrency market remained under pressure on Thursday morning, with Bitcoin falling below the $60,000 mark as broad-based selling continued across major digital assets. According to the latest market data, Bitcoin was trading at $59,372, down 0.58% on the day, while Ethereum declined 1.91% to $1,535.75.
Among leading altcoins, XRP fell 1.91%, Cardano slipped 1.82%, Polkadot dropped 2.53%, Avalanche lost 2.76%, and Uniswap declined 1.87%. Solana traded lower by 0.47%, while Binance Coin (BNB) eased 0.53%.
A few tokens bucked the broader trend, with Cosmos gaining 1.36% and Polygon edging up 0.24% during the session.
On a longer-term basis, the market continued to reflect sustained weakness. Bitcoin was down 6.67% over the past week, 20.25% over the past month, 32.22% year-to-date, and 44.64% compared with a year ago. Ethereum has fallen 48.21% year-to-date and 36.60% over the last 12 months, highlighting continued volatility across the crypto market.
