Coinciding with the International Women’s Day, DocsApp will provide online doctor consultations for women across all departments at just Rs 8 on March 8th to celebrate health & wellness for women from all walks of life.
The 21st century has been hailed as the century of women; however, women and girls continue to suffer discrimination and biases. Gender inequality is an evil that plagues the Indian society even to this day. To pay homage to women empowerment & gender equality, DocsApp unveils its initiative – #TogetherWeCan – on the lines of #EachForEqual, which is the theme for the 2020 International Women’s Day.
To strike a chord with the audience on this matter, DocsApp in association with W For Woman, Paytm & MediBuddy created an encouraging video #TogetherWecan. The thought-provoking video urges viewers to rethink their daily actions, behaviours and mindsets that have a subconscious gender bias.
Mr Satish Kannan, Co-Founder & CEO, DocsApp, “The need of the hour is to reflect on the discrimination and come forward together to make change happen. Our initiative #TogetherWeCan is a step in that direction & collectively, we can each help to create a gender-equal world.”
To spread the voice further, the campaign also runs a social media contest. It urges individuals to share the video & the user to spread maximum awareness wins vouchers from ‘W’ leading female apparel brand.”
