Bengaluru, August 17, 2022 – Plum has appointed Sasha Abraham as its Head of Brand, strengthening its leadership team as the company scales its presence in the employee health insurance and benefits space.
Sasha Abraham brings more than 13 years of international marketing experience across the US, UK and India. Over the years, she has worked on brand-building and marketing initiatives for global brands such as Betty Crocker and the National Football League. Most recently, she served as Marketing Lead for Women’s Cricket and International Sports at Star Sports, where she focused on growing the profile of major sporting properties including the Premier League, Wimbledon and women’s cricket in India.
In her new role at Plum, Abraham will lead the company’s brand strategy, drive brand awareness and affinity, and spearhead thought leadership initiatives. Her mandate includes positioning Plum as a trusted and preferred brand in the insurance and employee benefits ecosystem.
Commenting on the appointment, Abhishek Poddar, CEO and Co-founder of Plum, said the company is excited to welcome Sasha to the leadership team. He added that her strong experience in shaping and executing marketing strategies will help Plum build a stronger brand identity as the company continues its growth journey and expands its presence across industries.
