The total gross GST revenue collected in the month of July 2019 was ₹1,02,083 crore.
It included Central GST of ₹17,912 crore, State GST of ₹25,008 crore, Integrated GST of ₹50,612 crore, and Cess collection of ₹8,551 crore.
The revenue collection in July 2018 was ₹96,483 crore, indicating a growth of 5.8% in July 2019 over the same month last year.
During April–July 2019, the domestic GST component grew by 9.2%, while GST on imports declined by 0.2%. Overall GST collection during this period grew by 6.83%.
An amount of ₹17,789 crore was released to states as GST compensation for the months of April and May.
