Jaipur, Jun 25, 2026: Rajasthan has launched the Fertiliser Sales Application System (FSAS) to digitise the distribution of subsidised fertilisers, with the state government positioning the move as a step toward transparent, tech-enabled and farmer-friendly agri services.
The new system was inaugurated on Jun 25, 2026 by Agriculture Commissioner Naresh Kumar Goyal at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Rajsamand. The application has been rolled out on a pilot basis in Rajsamand and Sirohi districts.
Under FSAS, subsidised fertilisers will be distributed to farmers on the basis of their Farmer ID, allowing eligible beneficiaries to book fertilisers through their mobile phones instead of waiting in physical queues. The Agriculture Department said the system is designed to streamline fertiliser allocation, improve transparency and ensure timely availability of fertilisers to genuine farmers.
Officials said the pilot has begun from Rajsamand, where farmers will be able to place fertiliser booking requests digitally and receive supply through a defined process. The department expects the platform to reduce crowding at distribution points, save time for farmers and help curb irregularities such as black marketing and diversion of subsidised fertilisers.
Speaking at the launch event, Agriculture Commissioner Naresh Kumar Goyal said the Rajasthan government is continuously working to provide transparent, convenient and technology-based services to farmers. Additional District Magistrate Naresh Bunkar said the initiative could strengthen fertiliser distribution efficiency and improve access to agricultural inputs at the right time.
