The construction arm of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged significant orders from prestigious clients across two of its key business verticals — Building & Factories (B&F) and Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D).
Under the B&F Business, the Residential arm has received an add-on order for core and shell works of two wings of a premium tower project. The business also won a Design & Build contract to construct a multispecialty hospital in Nagpur, featuring structural steel work, MEP systems, and medical gas pipelines on a fast-track schedule. In addition, the IT & Office Space division secured an order for a mixed-use development in Bengaluru, covering a 9.06 lakh sq. ft. tower to be completed within 18 months.
In the PT&D segment, L&T Construction has won a package to provide Electrical and Mechanical systems for tunnels under the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link project, involving GIS substations, DG sets, SCADA systems, and tunnel safety infrastructure. Another underground cabling package has been awarded to enhance power reliability in a South Indian city, alongside additional repeat orders from existing clients.
