Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his congratulations to Nitish Kumar after he was sworn in as a Member of the Rajya Sabha, describing the JD(U) leader as one of India’s most experienced politicians.
In his message, the Prime Minister praised Nitish Kumar’s long-standing commitment to good governance and said his “indelible contribution to Bihar’s development” is widely acknowledged. Modi added that it would be a pleasure to see him return to Parliament, noting that his extensive experience as a former Union minister and seasoned parliamentarian would further enhance the dignity of the House.
