The Prime Minister of Nepal, Rt. Hon’ble Mr. K.P. Sharma Oli, attended the Swearing-in Ceremony of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Union Council of Ministers on 30 May 2019 in New Delhi.
On 31 May, Prime Minister Oli held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Modi. During the meeting, Prime Minister Oli congratulated Prime Minister Modi on his party’s resounding victory in the General Elections. In return, Prime Minister Modi expressed his appreciation for the kind wishes and reaffirmed his commitment to further deepen the traditionally close and multifaceted partnership between India and Nepal.
Both leaders reviewed the status of ongoing bilateral cooperation and expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved in the implementation of key projects and initiatives.
