The Prakriti Club of Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (MIT Muzaffarpur), in collaboration with the Student Chapter of the Civil Engineering Department, Institution of Engineers (India), successfully concluded its three-day Orientation Program 2025 today. The program was held from September 7 to 9.
The event commenced on September 7 with a lecture on “Role of AI in Sustainable Urban Challenges and Opportunities for Engineers.” On September 8, a quiz competition on “Role of AI in Sustainable Urban Development” was conducted, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. On the final day, September 9, a poster and PowerPoint presentation competition was organized on the theme “Sustainable Urban Development.”
During the valedictory session, speakers urged students to work towards sustainable development and environmental protection along with their technical education. The primary objective of the program was to create awareness among students about the challenges and opportunities of sustainable urban development through the application of Artificial Intelligence.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) M.K. Jha, Principal, MIT Muzaffarpur; Dr. R.P. Gupta, Chairman, Institution of Engineers (India); Former Chairman Er. Anjani Kumar Srivastava; Honorary Secretary Prof. Lok Ranjan Kumar; Prakriti Club Faculty Coordinator Dr. Vijay Kumar; and Student Chapter Faculty Advisor Dr. Akash Priyadarshi, among others.
Student coordinators of the Prakriti Club, Gautam Kumar, Mohan Kumar, and Ankit, successfully conducted the entire program.
