The President, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, today complimented the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting for providing excellent coverage of the swearing-in ceremony of the NDA Government, led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, held on 30 May 2019.
A delegation led by I&B Secretary Shri Amit Khare informed the President about the elaborate arrangements made by various Media Units to ensure comprehensive and world-class coverage across all media and social media platforms, reaching audiences across the globe.
For the benefit of hearing-impaired viewers, DD Bharati provided commentary in sign language. Additionally, commentary was made available in Hindi and English on other Doordarshan channels.
