On the occasion of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 75th birthday, PVR INOX, India's largest and most premium cinema chain, proudly presents a nationwide celebration through the power of cinema. The National Award-winning short film, Chalo Jeete Hain—inspired by a childhood incident from the Prime Minister's life will be screened across 343 cinemas and 1000+ screens from September 18 to 24, 2025
The special screenings, scheduled from 12 noon to 7 pm daily, will take place across the country, giving audiences the chance to watch and reflect on the inspiring story of young 'Naru,' deeply influenced by the values of Swami Vivekananda. With one show per day across 343 cinemas for 7 days, a total of 2,401 shows will be held, offering around 2 lakh seats. This initiative stands as one of the largest cinema-led celebrations of its kind.
Chalo Jeete Hain, directed by Mangesh Hadawale and presented by Aanand L. Rai and Mahaveer Jain, is a moving tale that traces the life of a young boy named Naru, living in a small village, whose journey of empathy, selflessness, and service is deeply inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The film sheds light on an important childhood episode from Prime Minister Modi's early life, portraying how simple acts of kindness and the spirit of determination shape the foundations of a great leader. Through intimate storytelling and evocative visuals, the film highlights the importance of compassion, community service, and perseverance in the face of challenges.
