PwC India Expands Footprint with New Office in Jaipur to Harness Local Talent
New Delhi, 28 April 2022: PwC India today announced the inauguration of its new office in Jaipur, Rajasthan, aimed at tapping into the region’s rich talent pool. This move aligns with PwC’s ambitious plan to create 10,000 additional jobs across India over the next five years as part of its broader growth strategy.
Sanjeev Krishan, Chairman of PwC India, remarked, “Our talent pool is no longer confined to metro cities. Jaipur’s strong educational ecosystem produces a significant number of Chartered Accountants, engineers, and management graduates annually. Additionally, Jaipur’s thriving industrial landscape enables us to stay close to our clients and support their growth.”
Highlighting the strategic importance of expanding beyond metros, Sanjeev added, “PwC’s growth strategy is closely linked to India’s USD 5 trillion economic aspiration. Creating meaningful employment opportunities across the country, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, is key to achieving this vision. Investments in retail infrastructure in these cities have already outpaced metros, underscoring their potential.”
The Jaipur office will operate as a flexible, multi-purpose workspace catering to clients in the region. Beyond Jaipur, PwC is also expanding its presence with plans to open new offices in Bhubaneshwar, Noida, and Thane in the near future.
