Under a statewide special enforcement drive, authorities in Rajasthan have intensified action against the illegal manufacture, storage, transport, and sale of liquor. Acting on directions from Excise Commissioner Namit Mehta, enforcement teams have registered 73 cases, arrested 12 individuals, and destroyed 22,410 litres of illicit wash as of May 3.

District-Level Operations
- Jalore: 38 cartons of illegal liquor seized from a car during a blockade operation.
- Bhilwara: Two cases registered during anti-liquor raids.
- Sri Ganganagar: Over 700 litres of wash destroyed; multiple raids conducted across Srikaranpur and Suratgarh regions.
- Hanumangarh: 2,400 litres of wash and six illegal distillation units dismantled.
- Alwar: Around 2,000 litres of wash destroyed; two cases registered.
- Bharatpur: 182 liquor pouches and 107 beer bottles seized during raids.
- Banswara & Kushalgarh: 3,000 litres of wash destroyed; 55 bottles of illicit liquor seized.
- Pali: 1,000 litres of wash destroyed along with seizure of 52 litres of illegal liquor.
Additional operations in Merta City and Kherwara also led to significant seizures and destruction of illicit brewing setups.
