Jaipur Development Authority has taken a major step towards transparency and accountable governance by making detailed land allocation records publicly available on its official website. The initiative aligns with the vision of Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and the directives of Urban Development and Housing Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra aimed at promoting transparent, corruption-free and citizen-centric administration.
JDA Commissioner Siddharth Mahajan stated that detailed information related to land allotments under “land in exchange for land” cases from 2014 to 2026 has now been uploaded online for public access. The published data includes zone details, scheme names, plot numbers, plot size, land use category, property ID, applicant name and allotment dates, enabling citizens and stakeholders to easily verify information.
In addition, records of institutional land allotments made for education, healthcare, social services, research, training, sports, public utilities and newspaper-related purposes have also been made available on the portal from the beginning up to 2026. The move is expected to improve public trust while reducing the scope for ambiguity and opacity in land allocation matters.
The authority further informed that records related to land exchange cases from 2002 to 2013 are currently being compiled and digitised. These details will also be uploaded after completion of the technical and documentation process.
According to JDA, all institutional land allotments are being carried out strictly in accordance with government norms, eligibility criteria, public interest requirements and transparent procedural frameworks. The authority emphasized that maximum use of technology is being made to ensure transparency and public accountability in administrative decisions.
