Jaipur, April 30. A high-level review meeting of key welfare schemes—Saksham Anganwadi, Poshan 2.0, and Mission Shakti—was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, along with the State Empowered Programme Committee.
The Chief Secretary directed departments to ensure strict implementation of guidelines issued by the Government of India during the 5th National Chief Secretaries’ Conference. He emphasized timely response to central communications and called for structured action plans to improve execution.
Highlighting the need for better last-mile delivery, he instructed the Women and Child Development Department to strengthen inter-departmental coordination to ensure timely benefits to beneficiaries. Regular inspections of One Stop Centres were also ordered to maintain service quality.
Focus was also placed on improving the Lado scheme portal through collaboration with the Education Department and benchmarking it against platforms like Vidya Samiksha Kendra. Additionally, efforts to co-locate Anganwadi centres with nearby government schools are to be accelerated.
The Chief Secretary further stressed capacity building by training “Champion Anganwadi Workers” and conducting regular webinars. He also directed increasing father participation in parent-worker meetings and enhancing infrastructure at Anganwadi centres through departmental convergence.
