September 8, 2026: India has joined the United States and 24 other countries in an international initiative to shape next-generation 6G technology, while the Defence Acquisition Council has cleared capital acquisition proposals worth over ₹1.10 lakh crore for the armed forces. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also scheduled to inaugurate and dedicate major development projects worth over ₹35,000 crore in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
