Stock Market to Remain Open on Raksha Bandhan on August 28, 2026

The Indian stock market will remain open for regular trading on Raksha Bandhan, August 28, 2026, as the festival is not included in the official holiday calendar of the NSE and BSE.

Trading will also continue normally on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange.

The next scheduled stock market holiday is Ganesh Chaturthi on September 14, 2026.
