Several stocks traded near or at their upper price bands, with sharp gains recorded across multiple names. TATACHEM and EMUDHRA registered the steepest moves at nearly 20%, while high-value activity was also seen in ESDS, AFCONS and DIACABS.
Steep Gains at Wider Bands
EMUDHRA closed at 592.85, up 20.00% on its 20% price band, with volume of 15.49 lakh shares and value of ₹90.35 crore. TATACHEM finished at 734.90 with a 19.99% rise on the same 20% band and value of ₹133.61 crore. QUINT and STLSTRINF also advanced 20.00% on 20% bands. JINDALPOLY gained 10.00% to 738.40 on its 10% band, while GRAVISSHO and NAGREEKCAP matched the 10.00% move on 10% bands.
High-Value Activity Near 5% Ceilings
DIACABS settled at 387.50, up exactly 5.00% on its 5% band, recording value of ₹53.45 crore. SPECTRUM closed at 3173.60 after a 5.00% rise on the 5% band. SAHASRA, MAXVOLT, KESORAMIND, KANORICHEM, UEL, ONMOBILE, FONEBOX, GREENLEAF, KSR, TAKE, ARCL, MBECL and SIEL also finished at +5.00% on 5% bands. IBULLSLTD, OPTIVALUE, 3IINFOLTD, QMSMEDI, SOFTTECH, UNIVPHOTO, BI, PRAMARA and RAJTV ended just below the 5% ceiling at +4.97% to +4.99%.
Other Notable Moves
ESDS advanced 4.29% to 1815.00 with the highest value of ₹1173.11 crore. AFCONS rose 3.05% to 261.55 on its 20% band with value of ₹746.57 crore. TBZ closed at 528.05, up 0.33%, while BODALCHEM gained 2.31% to 176.39.
