The Golden Tusk, an experiential family retreat nestled at the edge of Jim Corbett National Park, has announced the expansion and revamp of its signature all-day dining restaurant, The Golden Forest. A long-time guest favourite, the restaurant now brings a refreshed design, enhanced menu, and deeper cultural narrative that fuses nature with nuanced cuisine.
Spread across an increased area with an additional 350 sq. ft. of redesigned space, The Golden Forest offers breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness, both from its cosy indoor setting and its open-air deck. The elevated dining experience now includes live Indian street food stations and a specially curated Kumaoni corner celebrating the authentic flavours of the region. Guests can indulge in local delicacies such as Aloo Gutke, Bhatt ki Churkani, Kaapa, Bhang ki Chutney, and Jhangore ki Kheer, alongside a wide selection of Indian, Oriental, and Continental fare.
“With the revamped Golden Forest, we wanted to go beyond dining and create spaces that reflect local heritage while offering world-class culinary experiences,” said Anirudh Lakhotia, Director, Ivory Destinations. “This is a celebration of Kumaoni culture, seasonal ingredients, and the rich spirit of Corbett: where every meal tells a story.”
Designed with high ceilings, increased seating capacity, and forest-inspired interiors, the restaurant now mirrors the rugged beauty of Corbett while offering comfort and warmth. Guests can enjoy elaborate spreads for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while being surrounded by panoramic views of the forest landscape — making The Golden Forest not just a restaurant, but a destination in itself.
Key additions include:
- Live cooking stations
- Chef’s specials with seasonal produce
- Daily rotating menus celebrating both Indian and global cuisines
In addition to The Golden Forest, The Golden Tusk offers a range of unique dining experiences:
