The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2018.
Candidates Recommended
A total of 195 candidates (140 men + 55 women) have been recommended for final selection based on the interviews conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB), Ministry of Defence.
These candidates have qualified for admission to:
- Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai
- 110th Short Service Commission Course (Non-Technical) for Men
- Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai
- 24th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course
The course is scheduled to commence in October 2019.
Vacancies
- OTA (Men): 225 vacancies
- OTA (Women Non-Technical): 12 vacancies
Important Notes
- Medical examination results have not been considered in preparing the merit list.
- All selections are provisional subject to verification of date of birth and educational qualifications by Army Headquarters.
- Some candidates were also previously recommended for:
- Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun
- Naval Academy, Ezhimala
- Air Force Academy, Hyderabad
