On the birth anniversary of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap and Bundelkhand Kesari Maharaja Chhatrasal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid floral tribute to their portraits at the auditorium of the Chief Minister’s residence. He was accompanied by Khajuraho MP Mr. V.D. Sharma on the occasion.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Maharana Pratap set an unparalleled example of patriotism by dedicating his entire life to Mother India. His relentless struggle for independence and unwavering pride for the motherland remain a supreme example of national dignity.
Speaking about Maharaja Chhatrasal, Dr. Yadav noted that he ignited the spirit of freedom in Bundelkhand and, by forming an alliance with Peshwa Bajirao, significantly strengthened indigenous forces—a testament to his foresight and vision.
Dr. Yadav added that the lives of Maharana Pratap, the immortal hero of Mewar devoted to the defense of Mother India, and Maharaja Chhatrasal, the pride of Bundelkhand, will forever inspire generations with their extraordinary patriotism, self-respect, sacrifice, valor, and courage.
