Jaipur, April 13: In a significant relief measure for families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Rajasthan government has extended compassionate appointments under the Compassionate Appointment Rules, 2024 for dependents of children orphaned during the health crisis.
As part of this initiative, Mr. Manan Goyal, who lost both his parents—Mrs. Sushma Goyal and Mr. Arun Kumar Goyal—during the Covid-19 pandemic, has been appointed as a Junior Assistant in the Jaipur District Collector’s Office.
Acting on the directions of District Collector Mr. Sandesh Nayak, Manan Goyal officially assumed charge of his post on April 13, 2026.
The district administration said the appointment marks an important step towards providing support and stability to families severely impacted by the pandemic, while ensuring long-term rehabilitation for affected dependents.
