The Curtain Raiser and Orientation Workshop of the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAME) 2026 was successfully held in Jaipur on Friday, with a strong focus on innovation, technology adoption, entrepreneurship, and investment-led growth in agriculture.
Organised by the Agriculture Department in collaboration with summit partner FICCI, the event underlined Rajasthan’s roadmap to transform its agriculture sector into a self-reliant, future-ready and technology-driven ecosystem.
The workshop saw active participation from policymakers, industry leaders, startups, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), and progressive farmers, who engaged in meaningful discussions on new opportunities, partnerships, and scalable agritech solutions.
The event was attended by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma as Chief Guest, along with Agriculture and Horticulture Minister Dr Kirodi Lal Meena, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Joraram Kumawat, Minister of State for Cooperation Gautam Kumar, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, and senior officials from water resources, industry, and agriculture departments.
Speaking at the event, Dr Kirodi Lal Meena said the state government is committed to boosting agricultural investment, export-oriented production, and digital transformation, with a special focus on:
- Millets and coarse grains
- Horticulture
- Precision farming
- Water conservation technologies
He said these focus areas would help position Rajasthan as a major hub in global agricultural trade.
During the programme, the official logo and brochure of GRAME 2026 were unveiled, and a promotional film showcasing the scale, vision, and opportunities linked to the summit was also screened.
