With reference to the advertisement published on 25 August 2025 regarding the online written examination for the Customs Broker Licensing Examination (CBLE), 2026, it is hereby informed that the examination is scheduled to be conducted on 17 March 2026.
The pattern of the written and oral examinations will be as follows:
Written Examination
Mode: Computer-based test (Multiple Choice Questions – MCQs)
Language: Bilingual (English and Hindi)
Answer Option: Candidates may respond in either English or Hindi
Examination Details:
Number of Questions: 150
Duration: 2.5 hours (10:30 AM to 1:00 PM)
Marking Scheme:
+3 marks for each correct answer
-1 mark for each incorrect answer
Maximum Marks: 450
Qualifying Marks: 270 (60%)
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be required to appear for the oral examination in accordance with Regulation 6 of the revised Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations (CBLR), 2018. The minimum qualifying marks for the oral examination will be 60%.
