IDEMITSU Honda Racing India delivered a dominant performance in Round 3 of the MRF MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship, securing victories in both the Pro-Stock 165cc and Pro-Stock 201-300cc categories. The team concluded the round with a total of 10 podium finishes, including double victories by Rajiv Sethu in the PS165 class and Anish Shetty in the PS201-300cc category.
With these results, IDEMITSU Honda Racing India moved to the top of the team, rider, and manufacturer standings in both classes.
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Prabhu Nagaraj, Vice President – Brand and Communications, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., said the team had achieved a strong result with double-digit podium finishes. He highlighted Rajiv’s unbeaten record across four races and the team’s complete domination of the Pro-Stock 201-300cc category. He also praised the progress of young riders Mikail, Kavin, and Kritik, while expressing confidence ahead of the team’s participation in the next round of the Asia Road Racing Championship in Zhuhai, China.
Pro-Stock 165cc
Rajiv Sethu secured a dramatic victory in Race 2 after overtaking the race leader in the final lap, finishing with a time of 16:07.022. Teammate Sarath Kumar claimed third place, adding another podium for the team. Rajiv maintained his perfect record with four wins from four races and led the championship standings with 100 points, while Sarath held a top-three position with 93 points.
Pro-Stock 201-300cc
Honda’s riders once again dominated the category, with Anish Shetty taking first place and recording his third win of the season. Abhishek V and Aravind B completed an all-Honda podium by finishing second and third respectively.
IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup – NSF250R
Mohd. Mikail from Chennai secured his second win of the season after an intense battle with Kritik Habib. Mikail crossed the finish line with a three-second advantage, while Kavin completed the podium in third place. The Talent Cup continues to nurture young riders through competition on Honda’s NSF250R Moto3 race machine.
IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup – CBR150R
In the CBR150R category, Samuel Martin claimed victory after a close contest with Lal Nunsanga, who finished second. Deepak Kumar secured third place to complete the podium.
The strong showing across categories reinforced Honda’s leadership position in the championship and highlighted the growing strength of its rider development programme.
