National Sept. 8, 2026 — Ebix, Inc. todayannounced the launch of Ebix Meridian,a new operating platform for independent U.S. advisory firms built on the foundation of Ebix MoneyWare, the company’s wealth and asset management platform used by more than 300 financial institutions across 17 countries.
Ebix Meridian brings client management, financial planning, private markets and insurance advisory into a single environment, supported by a new AI layer designed specifically around advisor workflows. The platform is being introduced with pricing intendedto make capabilities traditionally used by larger financial institutions accessible to independent advisory firms and smaller practices.
Independent advisors typically run their practice across multiple systems for CRM, planning, private markets, insurance, document management and client servicing. Ebix Meridian brings those functions onto one client record, one document vault and one audittrail, with white-labeled client and investor portals included at no additional cost.
The value of AI in financial services depends on the quality of the data, workflows and integrations beneath it. Ebix Meridian pairs Meridian AI, its AI layer, with a data model and control framework developed over two decades supporting wealth and asset managementinstitutions. Client data is never used to train models and is never shared externally. The platform is SOC 2 Type II certified.
Key Capabilities
Private Markets
The full private market lifecycle, from offering management through commitments, capital calls, distributions, and tax workflows, including tranches, tiered return schedules, and configurable distribution models. Every transaction carries a complete, time-stampedaudit trail, and private-market positions flow directly into the client’s financial plan for net-worth and allocation analysis.
Financial Advisory
The platform produces a weighted eight-factor Retirement Readiness Score for each household. Cash-flow projections offer Monte Carlo simulation or advisor-defined custom return patterns, surfaced year by year with a Financial Independence, Retire Early (FIRE)scoreboard. Goals are earmarked against specific holdings so advisors can see what is available, and tax estimation estimates year-end liability plus contribution capacity for planning purposes.
Advisor Practice and Insurance
Advisors can manage client intake, comprehensive needs analysis, meeting preparation and client servicing, while also accessing multi-carrier life and annuity workflows. A white-labeled client portal gives clients guided intake, plan visibility, and firm-brandedinteraction with their advisor’s practice.
Meridian AI
Meridian AI brings AI capabilities directly into the advisor’s workflow. It supports conversational client intake, portfolio analysis through Portfolio Lens, document intelligence that can extract and organize information from files, statements and private-marketdocuments, and predictive scoring that helps identify opportunities and suggest next steps across each household for advisor review.
The platform also supports AI-assisted meeting preparation and review, conversational analytics and reporting across the advisor’s book of business, and offering analysis for private markets. These capabilities are designed to reduce manual work, extract relevantinformation faster, and give advisors a more complete view of each client relationship.
