Jaipur, April 22, 2026: The final electoral roll for the Urban Local Body Elections 2026 was officially published on Wednesday, confirming a total of 1,10,07,876 registered voters across Rajasthan.
State Election Commissioner Rajeshwar Singh stated that out of 309 local bodies, electoral rolls for 195 urban local bodies have been finalized, while the process for the remaining 113 bodies is still underway.
The draft electoral roll, released on February 20, 2026, included 1,13,29,913 voters. Following revisions, 2,27,879 new voters were added and 5,49,916 names were removed, resulting in the final updated list.
The final electorate comprises:
- 56,57,921 male voters
- 53,49,578 female voters
- 377 transgender voters
This reflects a net reduction of 3,22,037 voters (approx. 2.90%) compared to the draft list. District-wise variations were also recorded, with Jodhpur witnessing a decline of 16.9% and Udaipur 11.50%, while Barmer and Nagaur recorded increases of 2.50% and 2.40% respectively.
The Commission also confirmed the establishment of 6,485 wards and 12,198 polling stations across 39 districts for the upcoming elections.
