Jammu, June 19, 2025:
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has added yet another feather to its cap by securing the prestigious EFMD Accreditation for its MBA programme for a period of three years. With this recognition, IIM Jammu becomes the only IIM among second and third-generation IIMs to hold two international accreditations, and only the fifth IIM across the country to achieve this distinction.
This new milestone follows IIM Jammu's earlier achievement of being granted the Business Graduates Association (BGA) Accreditation by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) for a period of five years, solidifying its position on the global map of quality management education.
Expressing pride in the achievement, the institute’s leadership acknowledged the collective dedication and academic rigor that led to this success. “This is a landmark moment for IIM Jammu and a reflection of the hard work and perseverance of our faculty, staff, students, and all stakeholders,” said an official statement from the Institute.
The Director also extended heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Milind Kamble, Chairman of the Board of Governors, and all board members for their visionary leadership and unwavering support throughout the institute’s growth journey.
“This recognition is not just an institutional accomplishment; it is a testament to our commitment to academic excellence, global standards, and impactful education,” the statement added.
The EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) Accreditation is globally acknowledged for its rigorous evaluation process and is considered a hallmark of excellence in business education.
With this accomplishment, IIM Jammu continues to enhance its global standing, reinforcing its mission to deliver cutting-edge management education with a strong emphasis on research, innovation, and leadership.
