IIM Raipur has signed a memorandum of understanding with FPSB India to launch a one-year Executive Programme in Financial Planning and Wealth Management, marking a strategic collaboration aimed at building industry-ready talent for India’s financial services sector.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Sanjeev Prashar and Mr. Ramesh Vishwanathan. The signing ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both institutions, including Prof. Satyasiba Das, Prof. Yogesh Chauhan, Prof. Pradiptarathi Panda, Prof. Ritu Gupta, along with Ms. Teena Rawal and Mr. Rajesh Singh.
The programme is designed to combine IIM Raipur’s academic depth with FPSB India’s expertise in financial planning and the CFP certification ecosystem. The collaboration aims to deliver an industry-relevant curriculum, practical learning exposure and globally benchmarked standards in financial planning and wealth management.
The institute said the initiative is intended to equip professionals with advanced capabilities in financial planning, wealth management and advisory practices, while supporting the broader professionalisation of India’s financial services ecosystem. The partnership also reflects a growing focus on executive education programmes that align management learning with specialised industry skill requirements.
With this collaboration, IIM Raipur and FPSB India aim to strengthen financial education pathways and prepare professionals for evolving opportunities in the wealth management and financial planning landscape.
