Udaipur, January 4, 2023: The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU), through its Centre for Development Policy and Management (CDPM), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with New Delhi-based public policy think tank and research organisation Communeeti to strengthen collaborative research and consultancy in public policy and development.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director, IIM Udaipur, and Pratyush Prabhakar, Founder, Communeeti, at the IIM Udaipur campus.
The collaboration will focus on public policy research, development studies, impact assessment and evaluative studies of government welfare schemes. The partnership will also support policy-oriented research for government departments, bilateral and multilateral development agencies, and national and international non-governmental organisations.
As part of the collaboration, IIM Udaipur's MBA students are expected to benefit from the policy-oriented research undertaken by CDPM and Communeeti.
The MoU signing was attended by Prof. Saurabh Gupta and Prof. Dina Banerjee, Co-Heads of CDPM, along with Divya Singh, Co-founder, Communeeti.
Commenting on the collaboration, Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director, IIM Udaipur, said the partnership would support focused research and policy-making in the public policy and development sector.
The Centre for Development Policy and Management at IIM Udaipur brings together faculty expertise across areas including rural development, education, gender, migration, labour, sustainability, livelihoods, agricultural transformation and entrepreneurship.
