Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, industrial projects in Madhya Pradesh are being advanced not merely as investment initiatives, but as instruments of holistic social development. In line with this vision, the rehabilitation of displaced families has been accorded top priority at the country’s first PM MITRA Park, being developed at village Bhainsola in Dhar district.
For the rehabilitation of a total of 89 families residing on the PM MITRA Park land, the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) is developing a well-planned residential colony nearby. In the first phase of this rehabilitation plan, 24 families were handed over permanent houses, and their house-warming ceremonies were conducted with due rituals. The remaining families will be provided housing in a phased manner.
In accordance with the state government’s policy, industrial development will be pursued while ensuring the welfare of every affected family. Under this approach, special emphasis has been placed on providing not just housing, but an improved quality of life to families affected by the PM MITRA Park project.
89 Permanent Houses, 140 Plots, and Complete Basic Infrastructure
The rehabilitation colony being developed for the PM MITRA Park includes a total of 89 permanent 2-BHK houses along with 140 developed plots. The colony is equipped with all essential amenities such as electricity, tap water supply, roads, drainage systems, and an STP (Sewage Treatment Plant). In addition, facilities including an Anganwadi centre, primary school, parks, and a community hall have been developed. For security purposes, the entire परिसर has been enclosed with a boundary wall.
Rehabilitation Project Worth ₹13.48 Crore to Be Completed by April 2026
The entire rehabilitation project is being developed at an estimated cost of approximately ₹13.48 crore, with each house costing around ₹6 lakh. The project is scheduled for completion by April 2026, after which houses will be handed over to the remaining beneficiaries in a phased manner. The 140 developed plots will be utilized in the future for other rehabilitation requirements.
This balanced model of industrial establishment and rehabilitation at the country’s first PM MITRA Park underscores that for the Madhya Pradesh government, social responsibility is as important as industrial progress.
