Rajkot, 25th May 2026: Tech Mahindra, a leading global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions, announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Marwadi University, to strengthen industry-academia engagement and prepare students for the evolving digital and technology-driven workforce.
As part of this partnership, students will gain exposure to advanced technologies and skills such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Cyber Security, DevOps, SAP, Salesforce, IoT, and Full Stack Development. The MoU also envisions the establishment of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to support upskilling, cross-skilling, collaborative learning, and innovation-driven activities.
Dr Sanjeet Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor, Marwadi University, shared, “The collaboration comes at a time when higher education institutions across India are increasingly focusing on experiential learning models and industry integration. The primary intent of this alliance is to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by enabling students and faculty to engage with real-world technologies and professional practices.”
The ollaboration will also provide opportunities for internships, industry visits, workshops, webinars, seminars, competitions, and recruitment pathways for students, thereby significantly improving their industry readiness and employability. To ensure effective implementation, the partnership will be governed through a joint governance structure comprising a Strategic & Governance Board and a Program Management Committee.
Creating opportunities for academic excellence, applied research, and technology-driven problem solving, both institutions will participate in collaborative research, innovation, and joint intellectual property development.
