BENGALURU, INDIA – November 28, 2025 – Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath will join the panel of Shark Tank India for its fourth season, becoming the youngest-ever investor on the show at 38.
The announcement came Thursday evening via the show’s official handle, confirming Kamath replaces one of the outgoing sharks for the season premiering January 2026.
Known for his contrarian views on work-life balance and founder burnout, Kamath stated he intends to prioritise startups demonstrating capital efficiency over aggressive growth-at-all-costs models.
Having built India’s largest stock brokerage with brother Nithin without external funding, Kamath brings a unique self-bootstrapped perspective to the panel.
Early reports suggest his investment style will focus on consumer internet, fintech, and climate-tech ventures, with deal sizes ranging between Rs 1-10 crore for equity stakes.
Filming begins next week in Mumbai. The season will feature 40 episodes — the longest yet — with an increased emphasis on Tier II and III city entrepreneurs.
