The State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) under the Department of Urban Administration & Development has sanctioned ₹2 crore 66 lakh 75 thousand for various development works in Thanakhamharia Nagar Panchayat of Bemetara district. Following the approval of Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration Minister Shri Arun Sao, SUDA has issued sanction orders for these projects. The funds have been approved under state-sponsored schemes of the Urban Administration Department.
SUDA has sanctioned ₹73 lakh for the beautification of Kaiha Pond located in Ward Nos. 4, 5, 6, and 8 of Thanakhamharia Nagar Panchayat.
An amount of ₹1 crore has been approved for the construction of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Sarvasamaj Community Hall.
Additionally, SUDA has sanctioned
₹47 lakh 75 thousand for the upgradation and additional facilities at the cremation ground in Ward No. 9, and
₹50 lakh for the construction of a Haat-Bazaar.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao has directed officials to ensure high-quality execution of all works and to complete them within the stipulated timeframe.
