Chhattisgarh is set to welcome the New Year with a vibrant celebration of literature, as Raipur gears up to host a grand Literature Festival from January 23 to 25, 2026, at Nava Raipur. More than 100 distinguished authors and literary figures from across India are expected to participate.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, who envisioned the event as part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, unveiled the official logo of the Raipur Literature Festival at his residence office today.
The event was attended by the Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Pankaj Jha, Chhattisgarh Sahitya Akademi Chairman Shashank Sharma, Public Relations Secretary Dr. Rohit Yadav, and senior litterateurs including Sushil Trivedi, Dr. Chitranjan Kar, Girish Pankaj, Dr. Sanjeev Bakshi, Pradeep Srivastava, and Shakuntala Tarar.

Speaking at the logo unveiling, CM Sai said the state is celebrating 25 years of its formation, and the Raipur Literature Festival will serve as an important milestone in this journey.
He said the festival will create a shared platform for eminent writers from across the country, offering audiences access to their experiences, ideas, and creative insights.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the event will enhance Chhattisgarh’s literary presence nationally, inspire citizens toward reading and writing, and foster constructive discussions around the state’s development initiatives.
Festival Structure: 11 Sessions Over Three Days
The festival, designed in just two months based on the Chief Minister’s vision, will be held near the Tribal Museum. It will feature:

5 parallel sessions
4 plenary sessions
3 interactive dialogue sessions
These sessions will encourage direct engagement and discussions between authors and participants.
