Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani will pay floral tributes at Amar Jawan Jyoti and hoist the National Flag at the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Constitution Club of Rajasthan, and his official residence on the occasion of the 77th Republic Day.
Extending greetings to the people of the state, Shri Devnani said that Republic Day symbolizes India’s Constitution, democratic values, and the nation’s unity and integrity. He noted that the day offers an opportunity to express gratitude to freedom fighters, Constitution makers, and all those who contributed to nation-building.
Highlighting the relevance of constitutional ideals, the Speaker said the Constitution provides the guiding principles of equality, justice, liberty, and fraternity. By adhering to these values, he said, India can move towards becoming a strong, self-reliant, and developed nation. He particularly urged the youth to internalize constitutional values and consider service to the nation as their highest duty.
Shri Devnani emphasized that inspiration from India’s glorious past must guide efforts to build a brighter future. He described the lives of freedom fighters and Constitution framers as living lessons in courage, dedication, and commitment, and said spreading these ideals among citizens is the truest form of patriotism.
Calling for a “Nation First” approach, he said every citizen must diligently discharge their duties. In view of the current global scenario, he added, constant vigilance is required to safeguard the country’s unity, security, and sovereignty.
