Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is progressing rapidly toward self-reliance. Rajasthan, too, is advancing with the same vision and is carrying out continuous development initiatives. He emphasized that Rajasthan has immense potential in every sector and is now fully prepared for trade, investment, and global partnerships. The Chief Minister invited entrepreneurs to invest in Rajasthan and contribute to building a strong, prosperous state that aligns with the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
Shri Sharma was addressing the 98th Annual Convention of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Friday. He said that FICCI has played a crucial role as a bridge between the government and industry, making invaluable contributions to nation-building. The convention, he added, symbolizes India’s economic strength—bringing together policymakers, industrialists, investors, and entrepreneurs to chart the roadmap for national progress.
He also acknowledged FICCI’s partnership in international outreach programs for the upcoming Rising Rajasthan Summit held across the UK, Germany, UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
Unprecedented Transformation in the Last Decade
The Chief Minister said that under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister, India has become one of the fastest-growing major economies. Over the past decade, the country has witnessed historic reforms and transformation.
He highlighted that:
GST and labour reforms have strengthened the One Nation–One Market framework.
Bharatmala, Sagarmala, and UDAN schemes have enhanced national connectivity.
Make in India, Digital India, and UPI have pushed innovation, strengthened indigenous industries, and built the roadmap for Viksit Bharat 2047.
He stated that Rajasthan, being India’s largest state geographically, is ready to play a decisive role in this national journey. Under the double-engine government, the state is reaching new heights of development.
“Our governance model is built on three pillars: Reform, Stability, and Opportunity,” he said.
Shri Sharma highlighted major achievements:
ERCP (Ram Jalsetu Link Project) will provide drinking water to 17 districts.
Crimes against women have decreased by 9.24%.
Rajasthan’s GDP growth rate is 12.2%, higher than the national average of 9.7%.
He added that Rajasthan is rapidly emerging as a major investment hub. The state has implemented a transparent single-window system, digital innovations, and simplified land-allotment policies.
During the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore were signed, out of which projects worth ₹7 lakh crore are already being implemented on ground.
Rajasthan Becoming a Renewable Energy Powerhouse
The Chief Minister said that Rajasthan is now recognized as India’s renewable energy powerhouse. The state ranks first in the country in solar energy production and is also leading in wind energy, green hydrogen, and green ammonia.
He added:
Rajasthan is rich in diverse mineral resources.
Over 5 lakh MSMEs and startups have been registered—placing the state at the 4th position nationally.
Under the iStart Program, more than 7,000 startups have been registered, generating thousands of jobs.
