Jaipur, 25 November. Rajasthan Police is set to take a major technological leap in crime tracking and criminal investigation. Under the guidance of Director General of Police Shri Rajeev Kumar Sharma and Additional Director General, Crime Branch, Shri Hawa Singh Ghumaria, an intensive online training workshop was organised for all field units by NCRB, New Delhi. The primary aim of this workshop was to equip police officers with the latest technological and legal tools to enhance the quality and speed of investigations.
Specialised Training Conducted by NCRB IG
The session was led by IG Shri Janmejay Khanduri, Deputy Director, NCRB New Delhi, along with his expert team. District Superintendents of Police, DCPs, Additional SPs, Circle Officers, SHOs, CCTNS operators, and officers from Police Headquarters actively participated in the training.
Sharper, Faster Investigations Ahead
IG Shri Khanduri provided detailed insights into NCRB’s new applications and dashboards designed to simplify daily policing tasks. These advanced tools will significantly assist in tracking wanted criminals and improving investigations in cases related to crimes against women. Most importantly, officers will now be able to access and utilise detailed criminal records in a more effective and streamlined manner.
IG SCRB Shri Ajaypal Lamba also highlighted the importance of these modern provisions and technology-driven applications.

This workshop marks an important step toward achieving smart policing in Rajasthan. With upgraded knowledge of modern laws and digital tools, the police force will be better prepared to tackle emerging challenges in the digital era and enhance the efficiency of the criminal justice system.
