In Rajasthan, the state-level Republic Day function was organised at SMS Stadium in Jaipur. Governor Shri Haribhau Bagade unfurled the National Flag and took the salute of the ceremonial parade. The event was marked by disciplined marching contingents and cultural presentations, celebrating the spirit of the Constitution and national unity. The celebrations highlighted Rajasthan’s commitment to democratic values and collective progress.
In Punjab, the state-level Republic Day programme was held at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Multipurpose Sports Stadium in Fazilka. Governor Gulab Chand Kataria unfurled the tricolour and reviewed the parade. Earlier in the day, he paid obeisance at the martyrs’ memorial in a nearby village, paying tribute to freedom fighters and reinforcing the state’s legacy of sacrifice and patriotism. The समारोह saw participation from civil administration, security forces, and citizens.
In Ladakh, the 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all centres of Akashvani Kargil. At Akashvani Baroo, the National Flag was unfurled by Er. Jamuna Prasad, Assistant Engineer, in the presence of officials, their family members, children, and inmates of Bal Ashram. The celebrations underscored inclusivity and community bonding, extending the spirit of Republic Day beyond formal ceremonies.
