Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the second Ground Breaking Ceremony of the UP Investors Summit in Lucknow and laid foundation stones for over 250 projects worth ₹65,000 crore.
He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a $5 trillion economy and praised reforms like GST and Ease of Doing Business initiatives.
Shah said India moved from the 11th to the 6th largest economy globally in the last five years and improved significantly in World Bank Ease of Doing Business rankings.
He appreciated Yogi Adityanath for improving law and order, infrastructure, governance, and investment climate in Uttar Pradesh.
The UP government aims to make the state a $1 trillion economy in the next five years through industrial growth, employment generation, and investor-friendly policies.
The event also included discussions on sectors like food processing, defence manufacturing, electronics, tourism, electric mobility, and renewable energy.
