Union Budget and Parliamentary Sessions Schedule
The 17th Lok Sabha will be summoned on Monday, 17th June 2019, and the session is expected to conclude on Friday, 26th July 2019, subject to government business.
The Rajya Sabha session will begin on Thursday, 20th June 2019, and conclude on Friday, 26th July 2019, also subject to government business.
The Election of Speaker for the Lok Sabha will take place on Wednesday, 19th June 2019.
The President of India will address both Houses assembled together in the Central Hall of Parliament at 11:00 am on Thursday, 20th June 2019, as per Article 87(1) of the Constitution.
The Union Budget for 2019-20 will be presented in the Lok Sabha on Friday, 5th July 2019 at 11:00 am. Following the presentation or laying of the Budget, the Houses will adjourn for the day.
